Previews and thumbnails are limited for files within the Encrypted section. This is because when creating thumbnails and previews, the data needs to be sent to one of our conversion servers for processing. Naturally, this cannot be accomplished with encrypted data as our servers cannot read your files.

As browsers become more advanced, we will start implementing more preview features, as the ability to decrypt and process the files client side is always becoming more and more possible as technology advances.

Currently, the web app does support previewing images, PDF documents, audio and video files directly within browser as the encrypted files can be downloaded and decrypted on your device before being shown in the browser. The mobile apps currently support image and PDF previews with plans to provide more soon.
